Learning English by telling about nature near school

Verkefnislýsing:
The pupils write short introductions about themselves and we send pictures of our school to each other. ( We could use the Google maps and satellite pictures there to see each others' schools.) Pupils go to a little outing near school. They could have thermometers and and digital cameras. Afterwards they would write sentences about the plants and weatrher and the teachers would make a power point presentation with the material . Later we could do a little "short story" . Pupils could bring a soft toy or a doll etc to the nature and take pictures again. What happens to the toy there ? Perhaps those toys could be "national" from our own literature. I thought that pupils could do this in groups of three or two.

Procedural Plan:  - pupils write short introductions of themselves - classes go for an outing near school and take photos - pupils bring a soft toy or a doll to the nature and make up a fairy tale/short story in their own language. Take pictures and write a couple of sentences.
