Our Project proposes to enhance the lives of the children in our different schools, enabling them to get to know about each other, their families,their regions, their culture, their countries and to raise European Awareness promotimg teamwork and partnership between all parties involved. We aim to promote recognition and understanding of our smilarities, differences and cultural diversity improving communucation skills and promoting and interest in the various languages within the groups.

Duration: Two years or more

Aims: To broaden our pupils horizons To develop a real interest, among participants in the Project (pupils, teachers and the school community), in each other’s lives. In order tol essen the possibility of racism. Our aim wil be explore the concept of “Same but Different”. To examine farmers in our different countries. To compare local areas and landscapes. To keep weather diaries and compare results. To compare our respective school days. To introduce ourselves, and our families. By producing and exchanging passports and regular pen-pal letters. To create and bring to fruition a travelling story. To examine each other’s political history through projects (to be exchanged). To inform our partners as to how and when we celebrate our national holidays.

Expected Outcomes: OVERALL LEARNING AND AWARENESS OF OTHER EUROPEAN CHILDREN OF THEIR OWN AGE AND THEIR EDUCATION.
