The schools involved will swap information on a typical day in our respective schools giving our children a window on school in a wider world and allowing them to compare and contrast. It will also encourage new friendships and collaborative work.

Duration: A month

Aims: To give the children a view on a wider school community. To encourage children and teachers to work in a collaborative environment. To enable children to develop higher order thinking skills as they compare and contrast the various school days.

Expected Outcomes:  A presentation describing their school day which will incuude text, photographs and possibly video.

Procedural Plan: The children and teachers will exchange introductory information. The various schools will work on a presentation to explain a typical school day in their school. This presentation will be read by the other participating schools who will then discuss and contrast the information. Each school will then say what they like most about the school day of each of the other participants.
