Description: Comparison of water quality in Slovenia, Iceland, Norway, Portugal and Cyprus based on outdoor activities by using lab tools and simple researches.

Age range: From 12 to 16

Duration: a school year

Aims: To learn how to take sample of water and analyse it. To explain the results of analises. To compare the results in different countries. To be aware of an importance of unpolluted water.

Expected Outcomes: Results of research presented in different ways (PowerPoint, e-mails,e-talk).

Procedural Plan: Outdoor activities: describing local water streams, taking samples of them, analysing the samples, explaining the results, exchanging them with partner schools.
