The Red Balloon
A red balloon flies to the sky leaving the primary school of a village in Ioannia. It is full of the habits, thoughts, games, tradition, etc of the life in this village in Greece.
The 'Red Balloon' has now visited schools in UK, Greece (2), Belgium, Iceland, Lithuania and Australia. Each school has written a Chapter of 'The Red Balloon' including something about their community. In some cases the schools have written in English and their own language. The 'Red Balloon' story can be found at www.wells.ik.org - go to the News page and look for 'the Red Balloon' - each chapter is there as a seperate document!
