Verkefnislýsing:
There are 9 students and two teachers in each country. The program will last the schoolyear 2007-2008. In the autum semester 2007 the main topic is national parks and in the spring semester 2008 the focus will be on global warming and environment. Common nordic is also a Nord plus Junior project and is based on a entrepreneurship. Visits to both countries are part of the project.

Aims:  - to get to know a foreign country and how to live in a foreign country. - to practice foreign languages both in speaking and writing. - to see and learn new methods in a foreign country and how to acculturate them in own country.

Expected Outcomes: Everything that the participants in the project have done and they do in the future connected to the project will be displayed on the webpage http://www.peda.net/veraja/jkouke/mpol/kansainvalisyys/islanti It is also possible that some booklets will be a end product

Procedural Plan: The project has already started. At the beginning the participants worked individually on a presentations about themselves. Groupwork is also very important in this project. The students do some presentations about their countries. A part of the project is to prepare the visits and make a suitable program. During the visits the students worked in mixed groups on several tasks. The students work will be similar both semesters - it is just the topic which changes
