Description: Exchange of information between twin-school teachers about the methods of teaching Maths and the range of teaching material.
Duration: A school year.
Aims: 1. Establishing differences and similarities in the process of Mathematics teaching at the level of high schools ( finishing with Matura ) in various European countries. 2. Exchange of experiences between Mathematics teachers at the level of methods and warp of teaching aims realization. 3. Putting an emphasis on students’ group work and showing good point of distance teaching. 4. Teaching students elements of Maths in the English language. 5. Exchange of the multimedia aids made by students and teachers. 6. Putting an emphasis on the IT technology in teaching ( working out the presentations, www pages, using the Internet, e-mails and chats ). 7. Presenting Mathematics as the general language connecting various nationalities. 8. Encouraging teachers of other subjects to creating and taking part in multisubject projects with twin-partner-schools.
Expected Outcomes: Creation of co-working students’ teams ( chat, e-mail).
